Austin Taylor began his Insurance career in 2009. Graduating from The University of South Carolina with a degree in Economics and Finance.  He began his career at CSC Global working with Insurance Software and became a Licensed Insurance Agent with Matt Nieman Insurance Agency in 2011. He purchased Nationwide Insurance Agencies of Wayne Budd and Ford Verdery in 2013 to establish Austin Taylor Insurance Agency in Augusta, GA.  In 2017 Austin purchased Matt Nieman Insurance Agency which added locations in Aiken and North Augusta, SC. Austin Taylor Insurance Agency merged with Gene Tom and Louis Tankersley in 2018 and moved the main office in Augusta to the new Martinez, GA location.  In 2019 Austin Taylor Insurance Agency purchased Rhodes Murphy Financial Services adding a new location in Evans, GA.

Austin Taylor Insurance Agency has 3 offices across the  CSRA conveniently located to serve all of your insurance needs. The Agency employs 11 Licensed Insurance Agents with over 150 years total experience in all lines of Insurance.

Austin serves on the board for North Augusta Forward in North Augusta, SC. North Augusta Forward is a non-profit organization focused on initiatives that enhance the quality of life in North Augusta.

Austin is from North Augusta, SC and is married to Heather with two children Ashlyn and Charlie.
